Meeting with Theater for the New City, with the coordinator for the Festival. Went very well, productive, helpful. Then a production meeting with Princes staff. Everything coming together, and getting ready for rehearsals to start on Monday. Then we can explore this unique world where Lucifer, Hamlet, Oedipus, and Dracula live.
Production meetings coming up -- with director Rachel Klein, sound designer/composer Sean Gill, and lighting designer Kia Rogers. Another meeting with Theater for the New City, organizational stuff. Then rehearsals begin next week in Williamsburg.
Have added Emily Owens, terrific PR gal of Emily Owens PR to the team. Also, the great stage manager, Naomi Anhorn. We worked together on ZOMBIE. Looking forward to working with both of them.
Rehearsals are getting closer. Small changes made in the script. Sound editor/composer decided upon. People seem to be interested in the blending of the Hamlet, Oedipus, Dracula stories -- with Lucifer as narrator.
